Meeting called to order @ 7:22

 

Board members present; Otis Jean Lane, Jerry Murphy, Johnie Greene, Mike Spradlin, Gordon Rife.

 

Mike Spradlin gave information on the Breeders Incentive monies for 2006.The money will be split on Master Stallions 10 Years and older.Among the Mountion Pleasure Horse Association and the Rocky Mtn.Horse Association.Owner of record of Stallion must be member in good standing of either the MPHA or the RMHA.And Stallion must be Kentucky bred and born.

 

Mike Spradlin made the motion to procede with the Breeders Incentive Fund for Stallions 10 years and older.Jerry Murphy 2nd.Motion passed.

 

Gordon Rife gave information on Equine Affaire 2008. The date for next year will be April 10-13, 2008.

 

Gordon Rife made motion for the MPHA to pay for registration to Equine Affaire.Jerry Murphy 2nd.Motion oassed.

Gordon Rife was made Chairman of the 2008 World Show.Any person interested in be on the World Show comm.Please contact Gordon @ 606-434-1780

 

Gordon Rife let the Board know that he has a member going to donate a colt or filly to the MPHA as a raffle colt.To be raffled off the night of the World Show.

 

Gordon made motion for the MPHA to pay for the registration of said colt or filly since member was donating it free to the association.Otis Jean Lane 2nd.Motion passed.
