Meeting called to order at 7:33pm by Gary Campbell

Gary Campbell brought up that we need more help from the membership.

There is a slow down on the return of Blood work from U.K.The lady that has been doing that job has left.So Gary asked people to be patiant on the turn around time on the blood work.

Discussed E-Mail from Denise Singletary.Gary will call tommorow(5-5-04)and find out what she needs.

1st Hgh Point show will be May 15th at Campton and the 2nd will be May 29th at Boonesville at River Park.

James Murrell asked about a young horse for a member that is reg.KMSH and would like to use the blood work from KMSH to reg.him with the MPHA.James was told the reason we can not use the blood type from KMSH is that they blood type for identifacation and the MPHA Blood types for Parentage.

Gary Campbell has the rest of the High Points awards.So please contact him.

Richard Wells requested a copy of papers for his Parks Cherokee mare.

Johnnie Greene also requested a copy of the permanent papers on Greene's Sunny Delight.

James Murrell presented the board the resignation of Don Gabbard.He stated in the resignation due to health problems he could not devote the time needed.Jerry Murphy motioned we accept the resignation and Johnnie Greens 2nd.The board would like to thank Don Gabbard for all the hard work he has done for the MPHA.

Don Gabbard also sent the embosser with James Murrell.

Jerry Murphy made the motion to have Mike Spradlin as Vice President and James Murrell 2nd.Motion Passed

Gordon Rife talked about Equine Affaire 2004.He would like to thank the people who went up there to help and make this year a big success.Gordon Also stated that Equine Affaire 2005 will be held April 7-10 2005.So please get in touch with him about attending next year.We need all the help we can get so a handful does not have to work the booth and breed stall all by themselves.

Gary Campbell brought before the board the idea of doing away with the area reps.After lenghty discusion Gordon Rife made the motion to do away with the area reps.and Jerry Murphy 2nd.Motion Passed

Gary Campbell stated that every member can act as a representative for the MPHA.Anyone that is promoting the breed can get in contact with any board member and that board member will see that the infomation will be sent out to them.

Motion made by Johnnie Greene to accept the profit and loss statement presented by Jerry Murphy.James Murrell 2nd.Motion passed.

Discussion about E-Mails coming from the Web-Site.The board decided to have all E-mails sent to Gordon Rife.He will get with Richard Roe and have the link changed.

Board discussed having DQP classes.Anyone interested in attending please get in contact with Gary Campbell.The fee will be around 20.00 and the class will be held around June.
