Meeting called to order by Gary Campbell at
7:47PM
Board members present; Gary Campbell, Mike
Spradlin, Jerry Murphy, Johnnie Greene, Montie Hobbs, James Murrell, and
Gordon Riffe.
Members present; David Spradlin
Discussion on replacement for board seat that is
open. Gary Campbell nominated David Spradlin. Approved by all.
Montie will get 4-4x8 banners for the World
Show.
James will check to see if Pollyanna and Paul
want to continue to sponsor the championship classes.
Linda Steele wanted to know if she could have
the color of her stallion changed from chocolate to smokey black. The
board would like to see pictures. She also misplaced papers on another
and like a new copy.
James Murrell brought to the board an idea to
make memorial classes of the halter champion classes. It was agreed
and James Murrell will sponsor the Male Halter Champion in memory of Marion
Stamper. Gary Campbell will sponsor the Female Halter Champion.
James Murrell will order trophies and ribbons
for the World Show.
Ringmaster for the World Show will be Montie
Hobbs, gateman will be Johnnie Greene.
Gordon presented info. on Equine Affaire for
2005. Mike Spradlin made a motion to send the deposit to hold our
booth. Montie 2nd. Motion passd. This will insure the same
booth as last year.
There will be a MPH trail ride at Hocking Hills
the first weekend of October at the Palmerosa Campground. Contact Mike
Spradlin for more information.
Mike motioned to accept the profit and loss, 2nd
by James. Motion passed.
After a lenghty discussion about the registrar.
James Murrell motioned that Gordon Riffe take over the position.
Johnnie 2nd. Motion passed.
The board would to thank Mildred Campbell for
her time and hard work as the registrar.
