Gary Campbell called meeting to order @ 7:26

Jerry Murphy presented the Profit and Loss statement.James Murrell made the motion to accept said statement and Johnny Green 2nd.Motion passed

Monte Hobbs said he would ask his wife if she would help with magazine

Gary Campbell gave a copy of the Sept./Oct. 2002 Magazine Mike Spradlin to get a price on printing and design from Jim Hargrove.

Discussion was made about needing to raise fee's on Blood Kits,Membership Dues, and Transfers.

At this time we are losing 2.30 every time we send out a blood kit
James Murrell made a motion to raise the Blood kit fee to 41.00.Gordon Rife 2nd.Motion passed.

Membership dues are 15.00 for a single member and 25.00 for a family.Jerry Murphy stated that it costs more than 15.00 to print and send out the magazine 6 times ayear.

Jerry Murphy made a motion to make a straight 25.00 membership fee.Monte Hobbs 2nd.Motion Passed.

Lenny Pozayt made the motion to raise transfer fee from 10.00 to 15.00.Jerry Murphy 2nd.Motion Passed.

All increases will take place on March 10,2004.

Gordon Rife handed out information on advertising in the Trail Rider Magazine.

Mike Spradlin also handed a copy of the Mountain Horse Connection around.He will check on advertising rates in that magazine.

A tentative trail ride is being planned for the weekend of May 21-23 2004.At the dam at Cave Run Lake.More information on this ride will be forth coming.

There will be a saddle given away along with a trophy for 1st place juvenile this year.
If there is enough juvenile particapation this year.The next year there will be a Registered M.P.H.A. colt given to the 1st place juvenile.

Johnny Green motioned to buy a tape recorder for the Secretary.Monte Hobbs 2nd.Motiom Passed.
Gary Campbell said he will get one.

Jerry Murphy made a motion that Gordon Rife receive all E-Mail inquires from the web site.James Murrell 2nd.Motion Passed.

Gordon Rife presented a quote of 598 dollars for insurance for the Equine Affair.Each owner will have to supply proof of insurance on the horses.With the quote that Gordon Rife presented would cover the Association and all members particapating in this years event from March 22-28 2004.With the association taking care of the insurance this year it will help out all particapants.Will get some more quotes.
